Madelyn's Baptism!

Better late than never right. Madelyn was baptized on Nov 7, 2009. It was a great day surrounded by family and friends. The spirit was strong and Madelyn seemed to take everything in. We had a nice lunch after and it was so nice to have support from family and friends. Madelyn sure felt loved. Here's some pics of the day!

Potty Training

Okay so I have a problem that I need help with. It involves Logan and potty training, which we have been doing for over a year. The kid just will not go to the potty on his own. Plus when I ask him to go, it's a total meltdown. He hides in a corner and crosses his legs. He always smells like pee, I know my kid's the stinky kid. I've tried bribes and taking stuff away, and leaving him underwearless. He also has frequent #2 accidents because he won't go and those are always fun to clean up. Any advice would be helpful, I'm trying not to get mad, because that just makes it worse, but after I've changed his underwear for the 5th time it's really frustrating. Anyways let me know what you all have done with hard to potty train kids. Thanks!

Halloween!

Here's the halloween pictures. The kids had a fun time at the trunk or treat and then we went and saw some Grandma's. Madelyn was a pirate, Abby was a kitty, Logan a ghost and Camille a cow. I don't know what you call Mike, an F-dude, white trash, any of those will work. I forgot to take an upclose picture of his Mullet, but he has one. We carved pumpkins at Mike's parents, it was a good time!

Traffic...

This is what I feel like every time I pick up one of my kids from school. You know what I'm talking about don't you. (by the way on a side note, this is my favorite Disney villain, I would love to be able to catch on fire when I'm mad.) What's the point of waiting in line if someone is just going to go around you and butt anyway. And the whole point of a "c" is so that parents STAY IN THE CAR and your kids get in and you pull out. That way things keep moving. There's no parking in the "c" especially if it's pick up time. Plus when you get your kid or kids, go, don't talk to everyone, don't sit and gab on your cell phone, just move. Anyways, I feel better now.

A Marker...

On August 23, they finished Claire's plaque. It's in the Orem cemetery on her Great-Grandpa's headstone. We named her after Grandpa Clair. It's a nice plaque, we took some pictures and it was nice to see it there.

Black Reunion!

The Black reunion was a fun time. We stayed in a cabin in Heber and it was so nice. The kids had a blast playing in the sand volleyball pit. Mike and I played horseshoes with only 3 horseshoes, it was interesting. We had smores every night and played games. We also took some family pictures, had a talent show and a fashion show put on by the kids in all of Grandma's dress-ups. It was a great time!

Hill

After the Spencer reunion we stopped at Hill Air Force Base. The kids thought it was awesome. They really liked the big planes.

Spencer Reunion!

This was such a fun reunion. There was a place of trees that was the perfect hut for the kids. They spent all day there, we didn't have to sunscreen and we basically only saw them at meal times. They had a great time. Here's so pics of the camping and also a pic of Camille and Camylle.

More Summer...

Here's some fun pictures of when Mike's sister Kerri came to Utah for a few weeks. And also Mike's cousin Jenn. We had a good time together, although it was madness with that many kids. I put in the ever famous fireplace picture. Pictures will be taken there for years to come!

Colorado!

We went to Boulder to see Emily and Don and to see Sam get blessed. It was a lot of fun. The drive was beautiful. We stopped and stayed a night in Grand Junction with my cousin Sarah and their family. I know this was all in July, but remember I'm catching up. Sam was such a cutie and the kids loved taking turns holding him. We didn't get to do much sight seeing, but we did go to Chautauqua park. The kids liked climbing on the rocks and I liked looking at the flat irons. We did also leave our stroller in Boulder and Em had to bring it back for us. It was a fun trip.

Payson Lake!

Alright I've decided to post as many things as I can to get caught up. Please read at your leisure. We went to Payson Lake with Mike's parents and had a great time. Swimming, canoeing, and playing and getting dirty. Of course I need to add some blackmail pics for Logan and Camille, both of who were so dirty I couldn't stand it anymore. They we're good sports. I didn't get any fishing pictures, but every morning we went fishing and the kids loved it. Payson lake is totally catch and release, so each kid got plenty of turns to reel in a fish. It was awesome.

Swimming again

Here are some pics of swimming at Grandma Spencers house. The kids are once again jumping. It's a kid thing. Although Logan is doing a cool face plant. I think instead of a swimming pool next year I should just do a slip n slide.

Cute Black Kids!

Here are some pics of the kids with their cousins from Wyoming. We have the ever famous picture of kids on the fire place, it's generations old. Camille, Abby, Brianne, Bradly, Madelyn, Logan and Jesse. Logan and Jesse are so cute together and a lot of trouble together. You can see the death grip that Abby has on Camille which is necessary to keep her in one place for just a second. Then we have the famous pictures of kids jumping off the fireplace, I just put in the best jumping ones.
