New Camera!

We got a new camera to replace the old, broken one. It's a really nice Sony camera. 8 megapixals and 5x optical zoom. I'm excited to take pictures again. Plus they're really nice pictures. Definitely better than our old one. Madelyn and Abby are enjoying their swimming lessons. I practically have to drag Abby out of the pool when her lesson is over. Madelyn is by far the best in her class, of course I'm a little bias. Logan is enjoying his summer of swimmers ear, allergies and colds. Camille is just as cute as ever and does this little dance on the floor that everyone just thinks is hilarious. This picture makes her cheeks look huge! The kids are having fun and so are we. It's already a busy summer. Bring on all the reunions!

Sisyphus!

Sisyphus was punished by the Gods. His punishment was he had to push a boulder up a hill everyday only to have it roll back down again. He had to do this for eternity. That sounds a lot like housework. I do the dishes everyday, only to have them fill up the sink that very same day. Or how about that laundry. Since there's is now 6 of us, I feel like I always have laundry to do. It seems like there is never ending cleaning. I wonder after I pick up a room, why in the world it looks like a pig sty 10 minutes after I clean it. I have the answer. Madelyn, Abby, Logan and Mike. I put no blame on Camille yet, the only messes she makes on the floor is spit-up. But I guess it's just part of life. If my house is too clean, then I probably neglecting my kids. So I guess I can live with a house that's a little dirty if I can spend time with my kids.

The Family Bike Ride!

Sorry there will be no pictures of the actual bike ride with this. Our camera broke. So you just get one of cute Abby. We went on a bike ride for FHE on Monday and we had so much fun. It was a pain to get our bikes down, and pump up tires and get Logan and Camille into the bike trailer. Everyone all of a sudden had to go to the bathroom and then we needed Logan's superman hat and we had to find that. But once we got out and got going it was a lot of fun. The funniest of them all was Abby. She would pedal and pedal just to keep up with us and when we'd come to a hill, I'd say pedal Abby pedal. Just so she would have enough momentum to get up and she would giggle the whole way up the hill. For those of you who've heard Abby giggle it's sooooooo cute and infectious. She doesn't do it very often but when she does I love it. After she'd get up the hill she'd be so excited, I made it she'd say. It was definitely one of the best activities we've done with the most rewards.

Wyoming!

We went to Wyoming this last week to visit Mike's brother Brian and his family. We had such a good time. We went to a natural bridge, swimming, to the park and out to dinner. Here are all the kids, Abby, Madelyn, Camille, Brianne, Jesse and Logan.

Here's Camille in her swimming suit. It was her first swimming experience, she had a good time.

Here are the boys. Logan and Jesse, they were like two peas in a pod. They played well together and created ruckus at dinner time. They were really cute to watch.
We had such a good time, thanks to Brian and LeAnne for hosting us. We have never eaten so well.
